My itouch isn't charging?

I have a wall charger and all of a sudden, my itouch doesn't charge when I connect it to the charger. I've tried restarting it and resetting all the settings. When I turn it off and then plug in the charger, it will turn on, but it won't charge. I can't connect it to the computer because I don't have the kind of charger that connects to the computer.
