Suzuki GS500f carburetion help!!?

I've got an 05 Suzuki GS500F. I'm having a hell of a time with the carburetion. It's not so much the jetting, but something else. With the air filter in, a 140 main instead of the stock 130 because of my aftermarket exhaust, it acts as if it's hitting a rev limiter at 8 grand. Take the air filter out(no intake restriction) it redlines at 12grand like it should with no goofy bouncing off the so called "rev limiter" like action. It's obviously getting to much fuel and not enough air with the filter in, but this is what jetting it calls for with an aftermarket exhaust. I've never had a bike do this before. I can't figure it out!! Please help!! lol. Any input is much appreciated!~! Thanks!
