Why hasnt the US focus on the concerns of its people?

The answer is simple: America is an over-diversified PC-ized nation of lazy spoiled people. Look at the 2 parties and how they demonize one another: when Democrats push for green energy and health care reform, Repubs cry "socialists, traitors!!". When Republicans push for sovereignty, secure borders and protectionism, Democrats scream "ohhh, they're racists!" Both parties are full of idiots who couldn't care less about uniting the nation and creating a productive society. Most Democrats are cosmopolitan hipsters, warmed-up rockefeller republicans who actually despise the poor. Most Republicans are now corporate crack-dealers with disturbing sexual fetishes.
