Trouble with new adobe flash player!?

I downloaded the newer adobe flash player like 10 times and it says it downloaded sucesfully but websites like youtbe, and others still say i need to download it.. I tried everything, I closed the other windows and when it was done downloading i even restarted it.... Help Please!
